Why anyone takes a music lesson on holiday
Because it is the rare souvenir that keeps working. Most of what people take home from Maui is a photograph and a mineral sunscreen tube with an inch left in it. A handful of chords is different — it is still there in November, in a different house, in weather that is nothing like this.
